adidas Basketball Reveals Expansive Year of the Snake Collection
Five bold kicks including the AE1 Low, Crazy 8 Low, Forum Lo and more accompanied by a snake-inspired apparel lineup.
In celebration of the forthcoming Lunar New Year festivities adidas Basketball has unveiled an expansive collection inspired by the Chinese zodiac’s Year of the Snake. The special collection includes five basketball sneakers, new and old, along with a wide range of apparel and accessories with snakeskin motifs.
The AE1 Low and Harden Vol. 9 are reprised in their reptilian colorways introduced earlier in 2024. The two strong contemporary models share a futuristic sensibility in their sculptural upper panels. Reintroduced with Packer in December, the adidas Intimidation is offered in an lustrous green reminiscent of Jade stones. Finally, naturalistic snakeskin-embossed materials appear in the Crazy 8 Low and the Forum Lo with red and burgundy accents.
The purple snakeskin-like material found on the Harden Vol. 9 is mirrored in a purple varsity-style jacket, finished with a snake-shaped adidas emblem applique on the backside. adidas Basketball branded sweatshirts and hoodies are offered in black, gray, and red, while side-snap track pants feature golden details for a truly festive palette of essentials.
