Ulysse Nardin's Freak X Enamel Seddiqi Draws Cues From Evening Skies in the Gulf of Arabia

In partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the Middle East’s leading luxury watch retailer, Ulysse Nardin has unveiled an alluring iteration of the Freak X that amalgamates métiers d’art techniques with its watchmaking prowess.
Limited to 30 examples, the Freak X Enamel Seddiqi faithfully follows the Maison’s hands-and-dial-less design approach, where all indications of time are told through its state-of-the-art UN-230 Manufacture caliber.
This exclusive timepiece is dressed in “Yas Blue” enamel, a hue that references the electric scenery as the sun sets over the waters of the Gulf of Arabia. This refined hour disc is also specially crafted by the brand’s Donzé Cadrans Manufacture, which involves a highly laborious and intricate process of enameling.
Coming in a 43mm case size, this limited-edition timepiece is clad in gray titanium, accompanied by a black rubber “ballistic” strap or a white rubber strap. Retailing at 154,000 AED (approx. $41,927 USD), the Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel Seddiqi is exclusively available through Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
