First Look Images Surface of Timothée Chalamet and Tyler, the Creator in 'Marty Supreme'
Tyler, the Creator to make his feature film debut in Josh Safdie’s upcoming film.
Tyler, the Creator is finally making his film debut and fans now have a sneak peek of what to expect. Linking up with Timothée Chalamet for A24‘s upcoming Marty Supreme film directed by Josh Safdie, first look up images of the duo in a scene together have surfaced.
In the images circling online, the “See You Again” singer can be spotted driving one of New York’s famous yellow cabs, with Chalamet’s character seated next to him. The film reportedly follows the offbeat life of ping pong champion Marty Reisman, though most details remain under wraps. Marty Supreme sees Chalamet sporting a 1950s haircut giving fans a hint of the time period. The film is slated to star Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette and Kevin O’Leary. The project was announced in July and has been currently filming in New York.
Safdie has been best known for films like Uncut Gems and Good Time, which he directed with his brother Benny. The two had creatively split and Josh recently helmed Adam Sandler’s Netflix comedy special Love You. Josh is working with Sandler on a new film set in the sports world regarding memorabilia and baseball. Take a look a the Marty Supreme set photos below or above.
