Tyler, the Creator Earns His Third No. 1 Album With 'CHROMAKOPIA'
Also giving him his best week ever in units.
Tyler, the Creator is opening at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200 with CHROMAKOPIA.
The artist’s latest studio effort debuts with a total of 299,500 equivalent album units in its first week, marking his best week ever in units. That sum is made up of 157,000 streaming equivalent album units (212.55 million on-demand streams of the 14 songs), 142,000 in album sales and 500 track equivalent album units. CHROMAKOPIA gives T his third No. 1 album, his best streaming week, his best week on vinyl and the third-largest debut week on vinyl for a rap album in history.
In addition to its chart-topping debut, CHROMAKOPIA also opens at No. 1 on both the Top Streaming Albums and Top Album Sales charts. To top it off, the album was able to debut at No. 1 despite only having four days of activity in its tracking week as it was released off-cycle on a Monday rather than the usual Friday.
Also debuting on this week’s chart are Halsey with The Great Impersonator debuting at No. 2 with 93,000 equivalent album units and Kelsea Ballerini’s Patterns at No. 4 with 54,000 equivalent album units.
Elsewhere on this week’s top 10 are Sabrina Carpenter at No. 3, Rod Wave at No. 5, Eminem at No. 6, Gracie Abrams at No. 7, Morgan Wallen at No. 8, Billie Eilish at No. 9 and GloRilla at No. 10.
