Bettinardi, the golf equipment brand based just outside of Chicago, Illinois, has introduced a brand new line of putters called the Antidote Series. With Zero Torque technology the concept is to offer golfers who a prefer a straight back, straight through putting stroke a flatstick which resists twisting of the face toward the heel or toe.

The Antidote Series offers two distinct models: the blade silhouette SB1 and the mallet-style SB2. The putter’s “zero torque” design is thanks to a Simply Balanced composition which precisely positions the shaft at the center of gravity, giving golfers the best chance of a square face at impact. “With our Simply Balanced™ technology, golfers can maintain square-to-square balance throughout the entire stroke, enhancing consistency and confidence,” said Sam Bettinardi, president of Bettinardi Golf.

In addition to the glare resistant Diamond Blast finish, the SB1 is accented with blue paint fills on the sole and topline, meanwhile Sapphire Blue covers more than 50% of the SB2. And the Mini Honeycomb face pattern is a visually compelling yet functional feature which provides a soft yet responsive feel at impact.

The Antidote Series SB1 and SB2 both come in standard and counterbalance variations for either right or left-handed players. You can pick one up for $430 USD on Bettinardi’s website.
