Last week, the Latin Recording Academy held its 25th award ceremony in Miami, Florida, with the world’s biggest Latin American stars stepping out to celebrate their vibrant culture. The three-hour ceremony was packed with dozens of performances and award tributes along the way.

Colombian legend Carlos Vives was honored as Person of the Year due to his impactful contributions to Latin music. He opened the show with a body-moving performance that made us want to dance. Additional exciting artists hit the stage, including Joe Jonas, Trueno, Myke Towers, Grupo Frontera, and more.

As one of the year’s most important awards, Dominican musician Juan Luis Guerra took home Album and Record of the Year with his bachata-focused album ‘Mambo 23’. Song of the Year went to Jorge Drexler, while rising artist and YouTuber Ela Taubert was honored as Best New Artist.
