S/DOUBLE's First Revival Collection Is Here

Shawn Stussy announced the revival of his long-admired S/DOUBLE label back in July with a billboard outside of Globe‘s headquarters in Melbourne, Australia. Now, the long-awaited reawakened imprint has revealed its first post-hiatus collection for the Fall/Winter 2024 season.

S/DOUBLE taps into Stussy’s surf-inspired roots, fully diving into the styles and aesthetics of the surf space that Stüssy has continuously touched on in its in-line releases. Garments are stamped with Stussy’s “Shawn” signature, the insignia appearing both oversized and more subtly across the collection’s graphic t-shirts, soccer jerseys and button-down checkered shirts.

The patterned soccer kit, which surfaces in shades of grey and black, sees “Shawn” embroidered on the chest while the button-downs imbue it subtly on the chest. Graphic tees feature the signature in larger lettering alongside S/DOUBLE branding. One t-shirt stamps a surfing graphic on the backside with the quote: “Roots since the beginning of this thing of ours. Big love.” A lineup of neutral-hued trucker hats complete the collection, each of which sees S/DOUBLE or Shawn written across the panel.
