Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter to Headline Primavera Sound 2025
The Barcelona festival is set to take place in June 2025 with other notable names including FKA Twigs, Denzel Curry and Aminé.
Primavera Sound has unveiled the line-up for its 2025 installment, which taps the trinity of pop it-girls of the day: Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. In recent years, the Barcelona music festival has reached new heights, drawing thousands from across the globe to enjoy its expertly curated lineups.
The 147-act festival will take place next summer from June 5 to 7, and will host other notable performers including FKA Twigs, LCD Soundsystem, Clairo, Aminé, HAIM, Jamie xx, Stereolab and more.
Last year Charli XCX also headlined the festival, accompanied by other major names like Lana Del Rey, Vampire Weekend, Mitski, Disclosure, SZA Justice and The National.
As the old guard of major music festivals loses novelty, festivals in more global destinations and secondary cities are gaining momentum with support from niche fan bases and subcultures. Coachella, once a hub of pop cultural newness, has been hit particularly hard as major acts like Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar reportedly rejected offers to perform next year.
Access to early Fan Sale tickets will be available on October 28 at 11:00 am CET and general sale will begin on October 29 at 11:00 am CET.
