Chris Hemsworth in Talks To Play Prince Charming in Disney’s Live-Action Film
Thor may soon be trading his hammer for a crown.
Chris Hemsworth, widely known for his role as Thor, is reportedly in talks to take on the lead role in Disney’s upcoming Prince Charming live-action film.
Hemsworth has had a eventful year, recently voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers One and starring in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. If cast, this new role would have him portraying one of Disney’s most iconic characters. With his heroic persona and global appeal, Hemsworth seems like an ideal choice to bring the legendary prince to life.
Paul King, the film’s director, has hinted that while the project remains largely under wraps, it will offer a fresh perspective on Prince Charming, distancing the character from traditional ties to princesses like Cinderella.
