Pharrell Shares That Frank Ocean Is Working on New Music
Revealing that the ‘blonde’ artist really enjoys the process of creating music.
New music from Frank Ocean could be in the works as per Pharrell.
In a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Skateboard P briefly touched on Ocean’s process of creating music and confirmed that the blonde artist is “cooking.” Lowe responded enthusiastically and stated that while he doesn’t expect a new Frank Ocean album, there’s some comfort in knowing that the artist is still working on new music. “Frank stays in the kitchen,” Pharrell shared. “And that’s probably the reason why he doesn’t serve as much. He really enjoys the culinary process.”
In 2023, Ocean was quite active in teasing snippets of unreleased music on his Instagram but nothing has been announced so far. There was also a rumor of a collaborative track with Rosalía after the supposed song leaked online, but it was never acknowledged by either artists. Ocean also told the Coachella 2023 crowd that he had no plans of a new album at the time, but essentially clarified that he’s been making new music.
