Ultra-Rare McLaren Senna GTR LM Could Fetch $2.6M at Auction
One of only five LM editions and the sole example finished in Harrods livery, inspired by F1 GTR chassis 06R.
RM Sotheby’s is set to auction a 2020 McLaren Senna GTR LM, one of the most exclusive models ever produced by McLaren Special Operations. This track-focused machine, one of only five built, was crafted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the F1 GTR’s 1995 Le Mans victory.
This particular Senna GTR LM is the only example finished in the iconic Harrods livery, inspired by the F1 GTR chassis 06R that placed third at Le Mans in 1995. The car features a striking Solar Yellow and Heritage Green paint scheme, hand-painted over 800 hours, with only a single piece of vinyl applied — a tribute to its Le Mans roots.
Under the hood, the Senna GTR LM boasts an 833 hp, twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a raised rev limit of 9,000 rpm, making it even more potent than its track-focused predecessor, the Senna GTR. The car has covered just over 600 miles and comes with a spare Senna GTR engine and wet-weather wheels and tires.
The interior reflects its racing pedigree with FIA-spec carbon fiber bucket seats, titanium nitride pedals and a bespoke steering wheel featuring gold accents. The etched carbon fiber sills pay homage to the legendary F1 GTR chassis 06R and its drivers, while autographs from Derek Bell and Bruno Senna add a touch of authenticity.
This Senna GTR LM, the only one delivered to the UK, is set to be up for auction starting November 1, as part of RM Sotheby’s upcoming London Sale and could fetch as much as $2,600,000 USD.
