November is looking packed for Phillips, as the auction house is gearing up for its Hong Kong Watch Auction: XIX in addition to its TOKI: Watch Auction. The upcoming sale will feature a diverse lineup of wrist watches as well as rare and coveted clocks, including six timepieces curated in partnership with The Lavish Attic.

Leading the clocks selection are three unique pieces from Cartier. Crafted from a block of rose quartz, the La Pendule Art Deco Clock features Eastern-inspired elements and a mother-of-pearl dial. A rare collectible among a very limited production from the late 1920s, La Pendule Écran Art Deco Clock boasts a green jade and yellow gold build, contrasted with a translucent rock crystal dial.

As for the Modèle A Mystery Clock, it features a composition that combines rock crystal, yellow gold, mother-of-pearl, onyx and diamonds — all realized together in the form of an alluring desk clock, where the hands appear to be floating within a transparent crystal.

Highlighted wristwatches from the sale feature an array of creations from prestigious Maisons to emerging independent makers. This includes Patek Philippe’s Ref. 1518 yellow gold perpetual calendar circa 1945, Ref. 1463 pink gold chronograph circa 1959 and Ref. 5213G-001 white gold minute repeating perpetual calendar from 2013.

Other noteworthy lots consist of a Rolex Ref. 6265 Oyster Cosmograph “Oman” from around 1974, a unique Ornament Nouveau timepiece from Holthinrichs and the Richard Mille RM59-01 Tourbillon Yohan Blake edition, which will go under the hammer alongside a pair of running signed by the champion athlete himself.

The aforementioned timepieces will be available for preview in a global highlights tour across Singapore, Taipei, Geneva and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Watch Auction: XIX will take place in Phillips’ Asia headquarters between November 23 – 24, 2024. For more information regarding the sale, visit Phillips’ official website.
