Berneron Introduces Precious Stone Dials to Its Mirage Collection
Coming in Tiger Eye and Lapis Lazuli.
Independant watch brand, Berneron has unearthed its newest iterations of the Mirage wristwatch, starring two precious stone dials: Tiger Eye and Lapis Lazuli.
Founded by Silvain and Marie-Alix Berneron, debuted its first timepiece last fall – the Mirage - and left an enduring impression among horophiles and is nominated for the Time Only category in the upcoming GPHG Awards. Continuing to expand and explore its “Derestricted Horology” approach, the brand describes its latest novelties as “an unparalleled blend of art and technic.”
Measuring 34mm in diameter, the timepiece wears a slim on most wrists. Measuring 34mm in diameter, the timepiece wears a slim on most wrists. It embraces Bernaron’s unconventionally shaped case — an imperfect oval that exudes softness with an irregular form that boasts a similar appeal to Cartier’s Crash. According to the brand, the seemingly spontaneous case is finalized using the Fibonacci sequence to ensure a balanced and harmonious result.
The Tiger Eye variant features its namesake in the form of a hand-sculpted monobloc dial. Its natural golden-brown hue and chatoyant effect create a gentle interplay with its 18k yellow-gold case. Housed in white gold, the other variant incorporates the highest grade of Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan for a glittering spectacle. Both models are paired with askew hands and small second counters that complement their unusual cases.
Viewable from the caseback, the Cal. 215 echoes the watch’s distinct silhouette with an equally wave-like structure. Crafted from 18k gold, the manual-winding caliber is a new movement that is specially created for the Mirage 34mm — following Bernaron’s “one watch, one movement” ethos.
The Mirage 34mm in Tiger Eye and Lapis Lazuli are both priced at 51,000 CHF (approx. $58,639 USD) and will be available in Q4 of 2026. For more details, head over to Berneron’s official website.
