Casio has transformed a beloved classic into an eye-catching desk clock that appeals to fans of retro digital timepieces. The new DQD-851J-8JF clock, inspired by the iconic A158W digital watch, is set to launch exclusively in Japan on October 25th, priced at ¥4,378 JPY (approximately $29 USD). Crafted from lightweight plastic, the DQD-851J-8JF is even more affordable than the original A158W, which features a stainless steel casing.

Powered by a pair of AA batteries, it promises to last for at least a year before needing a replacement. Its fully automatic calendar shows both the day and month, helping you stay organized. This desk clock offers additional functionalities, including a built-in thermometer and humidity sensor that provide useful environmental data, making it more than just a timekeeper. The display illuminates with warm amber LEDs, ensuring a gentle viewing experience.
