Devin Malik Claims New Kendrick Lamar Album Is On The Way
Supporting Terrace Martin’s earlier comments of a new album from Dot.
Devin Malik is adding fuel to the rumors of a new Kendrick Lamar album via a recent tweet.
The TDE affiliate took to X to hype up the supposed project, writing “Mood cause new k dot album otwwww” alongside the clip of him and Dot at the latter’s Ken & Friends show from June. Malik did not reveal any additional details like a release window or his possible contribution to the album, leaving many fans waiting for new information.
Malik’s comment, however, supports Terrace Martin’s recent announcement of a new Kendrick album. In early June, he went on Instagram Live and listed out Dot’s project as one of the records he’s excited for in addition to YG, Mustard and Roddy Ricch’s. “Roddy Ricch album and whenever Kendrick drops his album, I’m excited for those two. Those two Compton artists is like, I’m excited. So much shit bubbling, you know?” he said.
While Lamar himself has yet to make an announcement, reports are pointing to a strong possibility of a new album. In addition to Malik and Martin’s comments, Bloomberg recently revealed that Dot (and Rihanna) declined to headline Coachella 2025 as he already has the Super Bowl Halftime Show performance next February, as well as an arena tour next year.
