Penfolds Teams Up with NIGO for an Exclusive Holiday Collection

Ahead of the holiday season, Penfolds unveiled its Holiday Designed by NIGO Collection, featuring four collectible giftboxes along with four exclusive wrapping clothes designed by the NIGO himself. The assortment is inspired by NIGO’s interpretation of the graphic checked pattern that can be found in many traditional Asian textiles.

This pattern is a symbol of eternity and prosperity, making each giftbox the ideal gift for family and friends. The two-toned print covers each box, and comes in four distinct holiday colors: red, green, blue and black. The collective suite of giftboxes include Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz, Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay, Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz, and Penfolds Max’s range, which includes Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Shiraz.. Each box comes with a matching coloured reusable, sustainable wrapping cloth.

This was the Creative Director of Human Made and Artistic Director of KENZO’s third collaboration with the global wine house. Penfolds announced a partnership with NIGO in June 2023, and he has since then created new products and concepts that merge the worlds of wine, art, fashion, and more.

“It was very important to me to incorporate my culture into this holiday collection. Integrating the checkered design and Furoshiki was a clear way for me to honor that. With this Furoshiki, I hope collectors can wrap, gift, and share their Penfolds wines this holiday season,” NIGO said.
