New 'Wicked' Teaser Previews Movie Adaptation's Musical Numbers
Including the likes of “Popular,” “What is this Feeling” and more.
The newest TV spot for the upcoming Wicked movie adaptation has shared a preview of the musical numbers that fans can expect.
The one-minute trailer hears the often-used “Defying Gravity” number, as well as the likes of “Popular,” “Dancing Through Life,” “The Wizard and I” and “What is this Feeling.” It also shares new looks at the cast that includes Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey, who play the roles of Elphaba, Galinda, Madame Morrible, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Fiyero Tigelaar, respectively.
Wicked is an adaptation of the 2003 musical, which details the backstory of Elphaba and Galinda before they became known as the Wicked Witch of the West and Galinda The Good.
