It’s been just over two years since Jordan Brand announced its partnership with Howard University, an HBCU based out of Washington, D.C. It wasn’t long before the school was treated to a special PE of the Air Jordan 6 that featured the school’s crest at its heel. From there, a PE of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG was created with the school’s colors and a special Howard Bison graphic at the sockliner.

Now, it’s time for a “Howard University”-themed take on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG to be brought to the masses with this new pair that has been revealed by Sneaker Politics. Revisiting the university’s color scheme, it sports a leather upper of off-white at the base, navy at the forefoot’s overlays and the Swooshes and red at the heel and the toe’s mini Swoosh.

Release for the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University” has not yet been announced by Nike. However, Sneaker Politics has shared that it will be releasing the shoe on October 12 at a price of $140 USD. Stay tuned for more information as we await official details and imagery.
