Sony Reveals Revamped LinkBuds Lineup
Introducing the LinkBuds Open, Fit and Speaker alongside a collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo.
Japanese tech giant Sony is back with a complete set of new products for its LinkBuds line that debuted in 2022. The audio accessory lineup blends style and functionality, beginning as tech-backed earbuds. LinkBuds is now expanding to feature two new models and a speaker as part of the brand’s latest rollout.
First up, the LinkBuds Fit comes with a new ergonomic design that ensures both comfort and aids with noise cancellation. Its Auto Ambient Sound Mode seamlessly adjusts ambient sound to match the user’s environment while new intuitive controls include Wide Area Tap, allowing users to simply tap in front of their ear to control music. Color options include black, white, green and a special Olivia Rodrigo-selected violet. As for the LinkBuds Open, it utilizes an open-ring design that is designed to keep users engaged with their surroundings. With Adaptive Volume Control this is further supported as the earbuds will optimize volume based on location. The Open comes in black, white and the collaborative violet colorways. Both sets of earbuds also see new Fitting Supporters and Case Covers offered in various looks that can be mixed and matched, further backing the lineup’s customization options. Lastly, the LinkBuds Speaker is portable, durable and smart — with Auto Switch, playback is swapped between listening devices based on the user’s situation.
For those interested in shopping all three of Sony’s new LinkBuds products, the Fit and Open models are available for pre-order now at a price of $200 USD each via Sony and authorized dealers. As for the LinkBuds Speaker, it is available in the US only at this time and can be pre-ordered at a starting price of $180 USD via Sony.
