TUMI's First-Ever Golf Collection Leaves No Stone Unturned
With thoughtful touches like USB-C ports and insulated pockets.

As a functional piece of equipment, a golf bag only really needs to fulfill one purpose: carry your golf clubs, balls and a few other accoutrements. But where’s the fun in that? For high-end suitcase company TUMI, launching a golf collection was an opportunity to obsess over the details, the hidden features and thoughtful design touches, all of which combine to tell that consumer that the product they purchased is special. But of course, TUMI couldn’t just stop at golf bags.
Arriving as an addition to the TUMI Sports lineup, the collection was launched last week at the PGA Show in Orlando, where Hypegolf was onsite to get a first look at stand bags, cart bags, travel cases, totes, cigar holders and more. It’s an all-encompassing selection of products from which anyone can find something of interest. “We put so much time and attention into thinking about what our consumers really want on the course, and how we can go the extra mile,” said TUMI creative director Victor Sanz.
Sanz took us through the lineup at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, where TUMI had also just announced an important partnership to become the official luggage brand of the PGA and LPGA Tours. But for him, everything starts with elevating the golfer’s journey while designing products that look unmistakably TUMI. USB-C ports, previously a feature reserved for suitcases, allow golfers to keep their devices charged, while pockets are fully lined with insulation for holding beverages. Even the bases of the stand and carts bags are outfitted with an anti-shock material, so feel free to slam that 7-iron into your bag if it feels cathartic. And naturally, luggage tags and monogrammable patches add a signature TUMI branding moment.
Pricing for the TUMI collection’s golf and travel bags ranges from $800-$1600 USD, while other bags and accessories are set between $125-$650 USD. You can shop them on TUMI’s website now.
