Vanessa Bryant has taken to Instagram to reveal a new colorway for the season of love. Previewing a new “Valentine’s Day” offering that is not yet released to the public, Bryant shows off a close-up look at the shoe.

The iteration of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro is dressed in a red hue featuring hearts, the iconic symbol of love, throughout. The caption of the post reads, “My Valentine’s Day ‘PE’s/Wifey’s’ 2024,” confirming that the shoe is expected to arrive around the time of Valentine’s Day later next month. This pair posted appears to be an exclusive one made just for Bryant. The PE version sees red take over the entire mesh upper while the hearts are embroidered on. The Swoosh is highlighted in white while Kobe’s Mamba logo is on the tongue and heel.

So far this year, the Nike Kobe 8 Proto has dropped in “Mambacita” and “Radiant Emerald”. This specific pair is not expected to be available for a general release.
