Ni Ni and Chang Chen Front Gucci's New Valigeria Campaign
Spotlighting the Gucci Savoy travel collection in a number of paparazzi-like shots.
Following on from Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s viral Valigeria campaign in October of last year, Gucci has returned with a new set of travel-minded images, starring Chinese actress Ni Ni and Taiwanese actor Chang Chen.
The imagery sees the two Love and Destiny stars reunite for a trip, carrying the Italian fashion house’s latest Valigeria luggage through a vacant airport. With creative direction from Sabato de Sarno and photography by Anthony Seklaoui, the sartorial delivery mimics the candid nature of paparazzi shots.
Per Gucci, the campaign looks to celebrate “love and the broader concept of family,” while spotlighting “the special kind of familiar beauty that travel brings, especially when you find yourself beside a friend that is like family.”
The visuals see the actors carrying several flagship pieces from the Gucci Savoy range, including trolleys, trunks, suit cases, duffle bags, bowling totes and more. Across the collection, several silhouettes fuse the House’s emblematic motifs — namely, the GG monogram — with neon leather trims, handles, detachable key holders and ID tags. Notably, the campaign also centers a slew of rubberized leather duffles in fluorescent hues of pink, yellow, blue and orange.
