Brooklyn Nets Celebrates Paris NBA Game With Kidsuper and Paris Saint-Germain Merch Collaboration
The limited-edition t-shirt will be sold exclusively at Sonny’s Pizza in Paris.
The Brooklyn Nets have landed in Paris for their NBA game. The team collaborates with KidSuper and the Paris Saint-Germain football club for an exclusive merch collaboration.
As a part of a series of Brooklyn-inspired experiences from sports to food to music and fashion, the team has been brought to Paris to face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The collaborative piece is designed by Colm Dillane, who appears to doodle a chef standing between the Brooklyn Bridge and Eiffel Tower on a limited-edition t-shirt. The shirt will be available at Sonny’s Pizza (renamed The Brooklyn Nets Pizzeria for the time being), a buzzy American-style pizza parlor located near the Place de la République. Dillane himself is a Brooklynite and given that his first fashion endeavor was for Brick Oven T-Shirt Company and an ode to pizza, this felt full circle.
Ron Goldenberg, vice president international marketing and innovation of the Brooklyn Nets said, “We’ve spent months curating an intentional campaign to bring the best of Brooklyn to Paris and celebrate the unique connection between both markets — something Colm has demonstrated through his previous projects.” Dillane shows his Fall/Winter 2024 menswear collection on January 20 in Paris. Other activities held to celebrate Brooklyn in Paris include an orchestral tribute to the Notorious B.I.G. as well as an immersive experience at the Carreau du Temple for basketball jersey customizations with KAWS.
