Towards the end of last year, it was announced that C.P. Company was birthing a new label entitled “Massimo Osti Studio” – adding to the late Massimo Osti’s catalog that also includes Stone Island. Now, the wait is over as the brand has just made its debut during Paris Fashion Week.

“We wanted to isolate it, to keep it pure and clean; to have the room to experiment 360 without risking confusion about what C.P. Company is,” said Massimo Osti’s son, Lorenzo Osti about the brand last year before its launch. “It’s like a sandbox for outerwear innovation.” The brand’s debut was just that. Revealed during a private event in Paris, the showcase debuted the brand’s key focus on fabric research and experimentation without wavering in quality.

Seen in the wardrobe is a key focus on outerwear comprised of hooded zip-up jackets, parkas, lightweight puffers, hybridized tailored jackets and vests. The pieces are livened by technical and industrial stylings made up of several fabrics like nylon, blended wool and more. A number of the jackets are then paired with matching pants for a completely technical look. For the first offering, the brand opted for versatile shades like olive green, deep gray, dusty beige and technical light blue.

The collection showcase is open now through January 20 in Paris. Take a look at Massimo Osti Studio’s debut collection in the gallery above.
