Joey Bada$$ Delivers Jet-Setting Single "Passports & Suitcases"
Featuring Kenya-born R&B singer KayCyy.
Joey Bada$$ has returned with his first single of the new year, dubbed “Passports & Suitcases.” The track, which arrived just in time to celebrate the rapper’s birthday weekend, features Kenya-bred R&B vocalist KayCyy with production from boysarerolling.
“Uh, sometimes I trip just on how happy we could be/ F*** it, girl, let’s take a trip, drop all your shit and let’s leave,” Bada$$ raps on the globe-trotting track. “You ain’t gotta worry ’bout a thing, got everything that you need/ Anything that you please.”
“RUN IT UP & DROP A [suitcase emoji] IN THE COMMENTS,” Bada$$ wrote on Instagram, alongside a visual featuring the rapper reciting his bars next to a pile of Louis Vuitton trunks.

The single marks the first track to come from the rapper’s next album, titled Untied States of Amerikkka, which he previously announced he would release at some point this year. Bada$$ has not dropped a full-length effort since 2000, which was released in 2022. Prior to 2000, the artist released his second studio album, All-Amerikkkan Badass, in 2017.
