WANDER Hosted Immersive ‘GENESIS’ Exhibition and Unveiled its New FD/08 Footwear Collection
Hosted at the TEMPL store in Jakarta, the footwear brand brought visitors into its brand universe which combines functionality and artistry.
Unveiling its debut collection, FD/08, WANDER not only presented new styles to wearers but also brought the collection’s messaging to life through an installation at the TEMPL store in Jakarta, Indonesia. ‘GENESIS’ provided an immersive experience to visitors, displaying the new footwear models throughout the exhibition while also highlighting WANDER’s distinct brand ethos.
WANDER creates footwear that is made to endure everyday wear no matter what the day may bring, but the brand doesn’t sacrifice creativity for utility. Every model features details that prioritize comfort, such as specially designed insoles and a plushy outsole, while accented by elevated colorways and high-quality 100 percent calfskin. This collection includes three versatile colorways: Khaki, Mustard, and Black.
The event itself was sectioned off into different inviting rooms, emphasizing the brand’s key concept of day-to-day comfort. The Main Room of TEMPL acted as a meeting point for attendees, where they could get an up-close view of the design features that characterize FD/08. The Red Room was another focal point of the installation, displaying artistic visuals that nod to WANDER’s inventive heritage, captured by photographer Jonathan Andy Tan.
