Denzel Curry Taps Kenny Mason for "SKED"
The rappers exchange clever bars on the classic Curry track.
Nearly two months after dropping off “13LOOD ON MY NIKEZ”, his first solo single of 2023, Denzel Curry has returned with more heat. After debuting “SKED” at his run of intimate performances at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club, the Florida rapper dropped the hard-hitting Kenny Mason feature on streaming services earlier this afternoon.
The rappers thrive off each others’ energies, enabling each other with their witty rhymes. Curry makes it very clear on the chorus:
“And I said what I said, b*tch, you scared, b*tch, you scared (Scared) / I don’t go to sleep without a Glock by my bed (Doot-doot-doot) / I don’t say no names ’cause them boys might be the feds (The feds) / I’m about my family, God, business and my bread.”
The duo also released the music video for “SKED” as well, which successfully encapsulates the two-and-a-half-minute track’s energy. Enthralling and psychedelic, the Omar Jones-directed video is the ideal visual counterpart to the pithy track. Check it out in the gallery above.
