boygenius and Lauren Tsai have joined forces to deliver an exceptional visual experience for the supergroup’s sentimental track off the record, “Cool About It.” Two seasoned storytellers, boygenius and Tsai combined their distinct artistic styles and ethos to take viewers on an alluring, animated journey.

Spearheaded by Tsai, the video matches the song’s haunting, melancholic beauty. Tsai uses her signature sketch style to tell the intimate story of a girl and her dog – a nod to the band’s beloved track “Me and My Dog”, perhaps. Watch the beautiful, albeit tragic, story above.
