This Vacheron Constantin Timekeeper Lives Inside a Bespoke Rolls-Royce Droptail
A one-of-a-kind piece exclusively designed for the vehicle.
After the recent reveal of a custom Rolls-Royce Droptail fitted with an Audemars Piguet timepiece, Vacheron Constantin also just unveiled a bespoke dashboard watch for the British luxury automotive maker.
Uniting both luxury names’ mutual obsession with detail, as well as a passion for precision, the watch Maison has crafted an exclusive Les Cabinotiers Armillary Tourbillon for the Coachbuild-commissioned Rolls-Royce Amethyst Droptail.
Dressed in an elegant amethyst color, the one-off timepiece features the exceptional 1990 caliber, a specially developed manual-winding movement fitted with 299 components and 45 jewels. When fully wound, the timekeeper offers up to 58 hours of power reserve. As for functions, it provides readings for retrograde hours and minutes, small seconds on the tourbillon, as well as an armillary tourbillon.
Attired in stainless steel, the watch boasts a 43.8mm diameter and 19.9mm in thickness when detached from the vehicle. The handset is made of titanium, while the watch holder features an 18k white gold and hand-guilloché pattern.
