Earlier this summer, a first look at the upcoming collaboration between Serena Williams Design Crew and the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt was revealed for an August drop. Now, just weeks before the official release of these shoes, the official images of the next silhouette to receive a collaboration with the tennis professional’s brand has surfaced. Up next is the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Max 1.

Serena Williams Design Crew was co-founded by the tennis player herself and Nike to establish an apprenticeship program that supports and nurtures diverse designers and cultivate an expansive group of emerging talents in fashion and footwear. Continuing to grow her range of shoes, SWDC takes on the classic Nike Air Max 1, arriving in a construction of premium materials that feature breathable perforations on the toe. The shoe’s upper is mostly dominated in vibrant shades of orange, seen throughout the shoe on the suede overlays, mesh panels, inner lining and laces. The shoe sits atop a white leather mudguard and visible Air Max heel units with clear jade accents for the added touch.

Look out for the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Max 1 dropping on September 1 at select retailers and online at Nike.

In other footwear news, the Nike Zoom Freak 5 TB arrives in “Game Royal.”
