First Look at the Quavo x Air Jordan 1 Low "Rocket Power"
Set to make a debut at Good Times Atlanta.
Quavo, the Atlanta-based rapper and former member of the Migos is set to release a signature pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows with Nike and they’re calling it “Rocket Power,” in line with his upcoming album of the same name.
While the overall design of the shoe is mostly subtle, with the entire construction of the silhouette being made up of white leather, matched to a white mesh liner and white rubber outsoles — the pair does feature a few standout design elements.
Noteworthy elements include a small rocket logo at the heel that features an infinity symbol, a cluster of gold stars on the side of the shoe and an accompanying acrylic card featuring the same designs. All of these elements combined undoubtedly have been selected to pay tribute to Quavo’s nephew and former Migos member Takeoff, following his recent and tragic loss of life.
At the time of writing, there is little detail surrounding the release of the tribute pair, however, they are said to be making a debut at Good Times Atlanta, today, August 15, with more info likely to be shared at the event.
