The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Athletic Department” Rests on an Aged Midsole

Nike is delivering a vintage look with the Air Force 1 Low ”Athletic Department.”
Crafted with traditional leather, the upcoming iteration arrives with soft white uppers while hits of contrasting blue land on the panel swooshes, heel and tongue tag — the last of which features exposed foam — while additional branding can be found on the unorthodox Nike Air heel logo and Nike Athletic Department-stamped insoles. Adding to the shoe’s enduring aesthetic is a yellowed aged midsole that sits atop a blue outsole, with white laces tying the shoe together for a clean yet historic finish.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Athletic Department” is set to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers.
Elsewhere in footwear, Nike unveiled an earthy Air Force 1 Low in “Hemp/Coconut Milk.”
