Maurice Lacroix Brings Back the AIKON Urban Tribe With a Skeleton Dial

Maurice Lacroix just unveiled the AIKON Skeleton Urban Tribe, a limited-edition time-teller and new iteration of a formerly sold-out model.
In 2021, Maurice Lacroix released the AIKON Urban Tribe, a quickly sold-out reference designed for city dwellers. This time around, Maurice Lacroix not only reiterates the stunningly designed watch, but they’ve also updated it with a daring openworked dial.
Drawing design influences from urban landscape and architecture, the 39mm stainless steel case is adorned with intricate engraving that references concrete, glass, and steel structures. The pattern extends all over the metal bracelet, creating a streamlined look.
Viewable from the watch face, the ML115 skeletonized movement interplays with light and transparency in a consistent silver-gray color scheme. Developed with the help of Sellita, the automatic caliber is modeled off the SW200, and comes complete with 20 ATM of water resistance.
Speaking on this release, Stéphane Waser, Maurice Lacroix’s managing director explains that “The new AIKON Skeleton Urban Tribe subscribes to the same non-conformist spirit, but goes further by employing a sapphire dial that reveals the intricately shaped skeleton movement.”
