Vans Immortalizes Mac Miller's 'Swimming' With Special Authentic Collab

The Mac Miller estate and Vans have teamed up for a collaborative Authentic collab celebrating the fifth anniversary of the late rapper’s Swimming.

Crafted with black canvas uppers, the toebox on both shoes feature the white Yin-Yang motif heavily attached to Miller’s Swimming and Circles album series, with the phrase “Swimming by Mac Miller” surrounding it. Additional detailing is added via the “Mac Miller 1992 Til ∞” stamped around the white vulcanized midsole, while more traditional branding can be found on the red heel patch and toebox lining’s Vans tag. Rounding out the sneaker is the waffle outsole and white laces, and is housed in a special pink-purple gradient box.

Part of the proceeds from the shoe’s sales will be donated to the Mac Miller Fund, which provides “young musicians with resources to help realize their full potential through exploration, expression and community.”

Swimming was released in August 2018 and marked the last album Miller would ever release in his lifetime. It went on to debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and gave the artist a posthumous GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album.
