Drake Is First Rapper To Surpass $5 Million USD in Tour Revenue From a Single US Arena Concert

Drake has officially made history with his ongoing It’s All A Blur tour.
As per Touring Data, The Boy is the first rapper to earn at least $5 million USD in revenue from a single arena concert in the United States. He achieved this remarkable feat during his back-to-back shows at Washington D.C.’s the Capital One Arena on July 28 and July 29, with each night grossing an average of $5.032 million USD in ticket sales and totalling to $10.064 million USD. An estimated 34,303 people attended the shows with the average ticket priced at $293.40 USD.
As of writing, the highest-grossing hip-hop tour in history is Kendrick Lamar’s recent The Big Steppers Tour, which earned a total of $110.9 million USD from 929,000 tickets sold for 73 shows. If Drake continues with this pace, It’s All A Blur tour may break that record.
