Nate Diaz becomes part of a growing list of fighters to take on and be defeated by the YouTuber turned fighter Jake Paul in the latest match. Paul comes out victorious and remains undefeated with a now 5-0 record.

Paul defeats Diaz via unanimous decision (97-92, 98-91, 98-91) on Saturday night at the sold-out American Airlines Center. He came out swinging in the first round, hurting Diaz in round one. With the blow, many thought that Paul would have an early win, but Diaz held on until the end. Paul dropped Diaz in the fifth round, but Diaz was able to recover. In a post-fight interview, Paul admitted that Diaz has been his toughest opponent yet. He said, “He’s a warrior. I had him in the first round. He kept on coming. No one has taken that much damage. All credit to my team and my conditioning.”

It seems as though the win was not enough for Paul, who almost immediately challenged Diaz into another fight afterward, this time in MMA. Diaz appeared to be open to the idea and Paul and PFL now have a standing $10 million USD offer for Diaz to do it. Diaz countered stating, “I’ll fight anybody. I don’t give a f**k,” while also saying that the fight must be co-promoted through Real Fight Inc.

Since Paul came into the boxing ring, he has won against former UFC champions like Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, who he knocked out, as well as former MMA champion Ben Askren. Paul has been a pro-boxer since 2020. Diaz has been in the UFC for 17 years and had previously choked out Conor McGregor, handing him his first UFC loss in 2016. It remains to be seen who Jake Paul will fight next.
