Edwin FW23 Is Perfect for "Nocturnal Wanderings" in Tokyo
Gearing up for the cooler months.
Edwin is paying homage to its home base of Tokyo in its latest Fall/Winter 2023. This season, the label specifically looks to the vivid and encapsulating night life in Tokyo, dressing for the true urban explorer.
Taking on palettes seen throughout the Japanese city’s famous night scenes, the collection is symbolic to the vibrant colors with undertones of shady black and blue, highlighted by the electric colors reminiscent of the LED lights as unforeseen prints. For instance, the Boreal Jacket, Hiji Cardigan, Tyrell Pants and the Sebastian Shirt sees a flash of neon green as a nod to the neon signage throughout Tokyo. Continuing to emphasize Tokyo’s luminous nature and the city’s grunge subculture, the collection also features a vintage-inspired selection of oversize t-shirts and track pants for the athletic aesthetic. Pieces are centered around glowing red and orange undertone, taking inspiration from ’70s and ’80s track and field uniforms.
Staying true to its signature silhouettes, Edwin also reveals a selection of utilitarian pieces for the transitioning season. Exemplifying militaristic structures, Edwin reworks camo on basics as well as focuses on a army palette that uses the Kombu Green and Iceberg Green to highlight hooded jackets, windbreakers and more for the chillier months. To further gear up for the Fall months, puffer jackets, thick plaid overshirts, twill trousers and high-necked sweaters are also available.
Edwin FW23 is now available online and at select retailers.
