Sportswear and fashion-forward labels have been cranking out numerous variations of clogs latel.. We’ve seen Nike unveil its latest Calm Mule in a myriad of colorways and Palace join forces with Crocs for a duo of Mellow Clogs, and now Dries Van Noten is chiming in on the conversation and teeing up a duo of Clogs that are covered in full ponyhair.
The made-in-Italy slip-on model is fitted with a rather clunky build. Backless base layers are manufactured with 100% calf leather and come completely shrouded in ponyhair to give the kicks a soft texture and animalistic allure. An exposed seam runs down the middle of the toe box and runs all the way to its almond toe tips. Interiors of the silhouette are lined with a tan leather for a soft and comforting touch. Down below, the kicks are designed with a block heel. Dries Van Noten has released these Clogs in “Ocra” and “Black” colorways, the former of which features tan bottoms while the latter is done up with a monochromatic presentation. In addition, each pair comes packaged in a special dust bag.
Parties interested in picking up a pair can find these available now via Dries Van Noten for $860 USD a pop.
