Chick-fil-A has just announced its first seasonal take on its original and fan-favorite Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, with the special edition featuring notes of sweet, savory and spicy flavors — but not too spicy.

While this latest seasonal offering follows in the footsteps of other successful seasonal menu items like its Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and its Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich, the Honey Pepper Pimento stands out as a special moment for the brand, as it’s the first time the original sandwich has been visited.

“The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich uses ingredients and flavors our guests have never experienced at Chick-fil-A before, balancing savory, sweet and spicy elements using the highest quality ingredients,” shared Stuart Tracy, Chick-fil-A Chef and creator of the new sandwich, adding “With our custom-made pimento cheese and specially sourced jalapeños, we hope to deliver a new and exciting sandwich our guests will love.”

Accompanying Chick-fil-A’s new sandwich will be a new sweet treat, the “Carmel Crumble Milkshake,” first tested at select locations in 2021. The new fall-themed shake and the Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich are slated for a nationwide release, excluding Hawaii, starting August 28.

“I’m excited for our guests to enjoy our classic sandwich with a spicy and unique twist,” Shared Mitchell Kelley, the owner-operator of Arkansa’s top-grossing restaurant, he added that “As a personal fan of the iconic pimento cheese sandwich, this collaboration of flavors couldn’t be more exciting. We hope to reach both new and longtime guests with this bold offering.”

Following its rollout in late August, customers are encouraged to use the Chick-fil-A app or contact their local restaurant to see if the seasonal offerings are available at their locations.
