First Look at Another Sporty & Rich x adidas Samba
Featuring maroon detailing and a gum sole.
Sporty & Rich’s ascent in streetwear has been remarkable. From a mood board to a fully-fledged brand, Sporty & Rich has established itself as a leader in the space, having just opened a SoHo flagship featuring a juice bar, massage parlor and other amenities. The news follows a successful collaboration with adidas, featuring an apparel range and three colorways of the iconic Samba — a shoe founder Emily Oberg highlighted in her appearance in Hypebeast’s Sole Mates.
Now, another pair of Sambas with the Sporty & Rich stamp of approval has surfaced. In our first glimpse at the pair, a white tumbled leather base is joined by beige hits at the mudguard, laces and lining. However, it’s the maroon hits that steal the show. The red hue covers the rough suede Three Stripes on each side and the heel tab while golden “SPORTY & RICH” text appears at the lateral. Rounding things out, a gum sole offers a classic touch.
