As the summer continues to heat up, Los Angeles-based eyewear brand AKILA has linked up with lifestyle brand Mister Green for a new collab fit for the season.

The collaboration brings three sunglasses into the fold and picks up from their first partnership four years ago. By utilizing AKILA’s Ascent, Lo-Fi and Lagos silhouettes, the collaboration tosses them in two new colorways. The new shades blend dark and light with hues of black/brown, classic tortoiseshell and light tortoiseshell. Complimenting the hues are either black or rose-colored lenses.

With a minimal, yet catching design, the new collaboration comes on the heels of AKILA and Mister Green’s joint venture, Life Store Tokyo, which recently opened. Take a look at the new sunglasses in the gallery above.

Priced at $220 USD each, the AKILA x Mister Green Made in Japan collection is available now online.

In other news, Orlando Pirates F.C. partners with adidas to unveil new jerseys for the 2023/24 season.
