The second season of Prime Video‘s Invincible has received an official release date and new teaser trailer.

Revealing the news during San Diego Comic-Con, it was confirmed that the forthcoming season will feature a total of eight episodes, with the first four premiering on November 3 and last four in early 2024. Season two will pick up where its predecessor left off and will focus on the arrival of the new villain, Angstrom Levy, as well as lead character Mark Grayson’s personal conflicts. “Still reeling from Nolan’s (Simmons) betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear — that he might become his father without even knowing it,” the logline reads.

The main cast of Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh and J.K. Simmons will be reprising their role as Mark Grayson/Invincible, Debbie Grayson and Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, respectively, while the recurring cast from season one that includes Zazie Beetz, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson and Seth Rogen will also return. Other new voices joining this season are the likes of Sterling K. Brown Angstrom Levy, Grey DeLisle, Tatiana Maslany, Daveed Diggs, Peter Cullen, Cliff Curtis, Calista Flockhart, Scoot McNairy, Lea Thompson and Ben Schwartz.
