Post Malone has dropped off his fifth studio album, AUSTIN.

Clocking in at approximately 50 minutes, the 17-track effort is a fusion of Posty’s musical roots. AUSTIN, which follows his legal name, hears live instrumentation all produced by the artist and his longtime collaborators, Louis Bell and Andrew Watt. Acoustic guitars stand out amongst the layers of synth pop, pop and even folk production, allowing him to marry sounds he’s familiar with and sounds he’d like to get to know. The end result is an fascinating effort that removes Post from the box that many listeners like to place him in, and while it may not be for everyone, AUSTIN is a liberating record that will pique the interest of those who choose to listen.
