Coming off of a strong performance in 2022, thanks to its collaborative efforts with sacai and UNION, the Nike Cortez remains a focal point of the Swoosh’s lifestyle offerings. Tapping CLOT for a new “CLOTEZ” design, Nike has kept the silhouette in the conversation throughout 2023 thus far and looks to be keeping this up by presenting a slick “World Make” finish.

This time around, Nike has elevated the model, crafting a luxe presentation of the cultural icon. “Vachetta Tan”-adjacent leatherwork adorns the upper, covering its various overlays and underlays. The Swooshes are outlined and feature an ornate pattern stretching from side to side. Decorative black and white stitching can be spotted at the tongue while the interior sees “World Make”-themed graphics rest atop the cork insoles.

As of now, Nike has yet to share any release information pertaining to this “World Make” colorway of the Cortez. Stay tuned for official details as we expect this pair to land on shelves via Nike and select retailers, possibly joined by additional silhouettes bearing the theme.
