Meanswhile Reveals Urban Take On the Converse Odessa
Dubbed the OSS CP, available online from July 14.

Naohiro Fujisaki’s streetwear brand Meanswhile has collaborated with Converse to bring an updated urban look to its 1985 running shoe, the Odessa.
The collab includes a revamping of the shoe’s signature side lacing system, with the Meanswhile pair, dubbed the “OSS CP,” featuring a more technical shoe lace lock system “SPLC.” As a brand, Meanswhile aims to create products through the lens of “tools that are closest to the body,” with utility at the core.
Designed for urban use, the pair features a suede upper and heel that has been treated to be water-resistant. Meanswhile shared that the OSS CP is part of a greater “CONVERSE CAMPING SUPPLY” collection and that the sneaker will be available in two different colorways — namely white and light grey.
Set to launch July 14, the OSS CP will be available for 23,100 yen [$160 USD] including tax on both Converse and Meanswhile’s Japan-based sites.
