Marni has revealed a new chunky sneaker and we love it. Taking inspiration from its “Bigfoot” shoe, the new silhouette is named the “BIG FOOT 2.0” and in this case, the old adage of “the bigger the better” seems to ring true.

The Italian fashion house shared that the shoe is meant to lend a bold and “irreverent attitude” to its wearer and that the genderless shoe has been designed to bring with it both comfort and identity rooted in freedom.

Set to release in yellow, black and white – each pair is wrapped in extra-smooth Nappa leather with a matching color-blocked rubber sole. The shoe’s look is accentuated through a high-volume padded upper and decorated with subtle color-matched branding.

Designed to mesh with the brand’s Fall/Winter 23 looks, it said that “Everything coexists, with the pursuit of comfort, striking a balance between cartoon and reality, assertive creativity and pure simplicity.”

The BIG FOOT 2.0 is set to hit select retailers and Marni’s site beginning in September, at the time of writing retail prices have not yet been announced.
