Jeremih Taps Adekunle Gold and 2 Chainz for R&B Single “Room”
A seductive, summertime anthem.
Jeremih has been gearing up for his long-awaited comeback. The singer released his third studio album, Late Nights, in 2015. Last year, he returned with a sped-up version of the LP, followed by a slowed-down version in 2023.
In the past few months, the singer has been sharing new music, mostly collaborations with other artists. In January, he linked with French Montana and DJ Drama for “Choose You” and in April, put out a song with his own protégé, Murf Dilly, called “2 C’s.”
Over the weekend, Jeremih returned with “Room,” enlisting Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold and rapper 2 Chainz. The result is a vibe-heavy, seductive song hearing the artists play off of one another’s different sounds.
“Only want your attention / No more love at a distance,” Jeremih opens the track. “Only you know conditions / I know it’s missing.”
