Tennis is on the rise, garnering attention like never before from high-value players with a story to tell. From Wimbledon to the US Open, tennis is currently at its best, seeing global brands celebrate its momentum worldwide.

While Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Carlos Alcaraz are at the forefront of the sport, it’s easy to forget talent away from the spotlight. AFEW and Diadora are uniting to celebrate “the best player who never turned pro” through a vintage-inspired B.560 collaboration. Italian tennis player Dino Russo’s extraordinary potential shines across the sneaker, seeing his love for the sport surpass all odds.

AFEW and Diadora honor his unforgotten legacy, combining tennis and fashion into one silhouette for intense play. The pre-distressed model is crafted from premium pigskin and tumbled leather spread across two-toned uppers. Faded red touches enhance the ankle flaps and heels, contrasted by tan cracked leather medial logos. Russo’s signature is engraved on the previous, while collaborative tongue tags and EVA midsoles complete the design destined for on-court matches.

Take a closer look at the AFEW x Diadora B.560 “Dino Russo” collaboration in the gallery above. The pair will release via raffle on July 22 on AFEW for $250 USD.

Elsewhere in tennis, Carlos Alcaraz defeats Novak Djokovic for Wimbledon 2023 championship title.
