Drake Announces His NOCTA x Nike Tech Fleece Collection
Cozy zip-up-hoodies, crewnecks and sweatpants are done up with icy blue themes and white Swoosh branding.
Drake is currently bopping around North American cities alongside 21 Savage for his It’s All a Blur Tour, and ahead of his New York City shows, he’s given us a preview at what he’s got cooking with his Nike family. The Toronto native took to Instagram to show off his latest NOCTA x Nike Tech Fleece collection. This announcement arrives hot off the heels of him flexing a special NOCTA x Nike Glide colorway for the University of Kentucky.
In Drizzy’s carousel of images, the 6 God and his entourage are all captured the cozy sportswear pieces as they board his private, Virgil Abloh-designed Air Drake plane. Tech Fleece zip-up hoodies, crewnecks and sweatpants have been previewed, all of which are styled in an icy blue hue with contrasting white Swoosh branding. One of the crew members is also spotted sporting a blue ball cap that could also potentially be part of the forthcoming collection.
Nike Tech Fleece took the market by storm in 2013 and has gradually lost its charm, but a Drake cosign could be the Swoosh’s chance to reinvigorate the line with new energy. Look for the collection to release via Nike on July 27.
