Chopard Reunites With Bamford for a Limited-Edition Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Watch

Chopard and Bamford Watch Department have teamed up once again for an exclusive collaboration. This time around, the two parties worked together to deliver the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Bamford Edition Desert Racer — a 50-piece limited-edition that serves as a manifestation of Chopard’s passion for motorsports.
Modeled from the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control, this special iteration comes attired in lightweight, yet sturdy bead-blasted titanium. Arriving in a 42mm case size, the timepiece features a frosted black dial embedded with large Arabic numerals at its 12 and 6 o’clock marks.
Illuminating the watch face are tonal SuperLuminova© coating across the sanded-metalized indices and large metallic facetted dagger-shaped hands. Elements such as the 12 and 6-hour markers, date display, power-reserve indicator, as well as numbering on the bezel are colored in bright orange.
Running inside the time-teller is the Chopard 01.08-C mechanical self-winding movement, equipped to run for 60 hours on top of 100-meter water resistance. The in-house caliber can be observed via the watch’s exhibition caseback.
The Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Bamford Edition Desert Racer currently retails for £9,380 GBP (approximately $11,905 USD) at Bamford’s official web store.
